Voss & Vogel started with two friends, Yannik Vossman from Frankfurt and Christian Vogel from Cologne, who met as neighbors in Palm Harbor, Florida. Although they grew up in different parts of Germany, they had one thing in common that needed no introduction: a deep appreciation for good, authentic German sausage.
What started as a simple idea quickly turned into a passion. We began making sausage at home, experimenting with different seasonings, recipes, and techniques. Before long, our kitchen became a testing ground—and our friends became the official taste-testing crew. We hosted sausage parties, gathered feedback, tweaked recipes, and kept making batch after batch until we finally perfected the six varieties we're proud to offer today.
Less than a year after first dreaming about starting a sausage company, a little luck, a lot of hard work, and plenty of sausage brought the idea to life. Voss & Vogel is now officially licensed and producing artisan sausages in a USDA-approved facility.
From two German guys making sausage for friends in Palm Harbor to a real sausage company, our goal hasn't changed: make great sausage with only premium ingredients, share it with good people, and bring a little taste of Germany to every table.
